As of this verification, Draper City has no short-term rental–specific ordinance. Ordinance #1721, a city-initiated text amendment to Draper Municipal Code Titles 6 and 9 that would require STRs to be licensed and permitted, went to public hearing before the City Council on June 9, 2026 and was continued to a date uncertain. No adoption has been published. We watch the City Council's public notice feed for further action.

The city has adopted Ordinance #1721, amending the text of Titles 6 and 9 of the Draper City Municipal Code related to Short-Term Rentals. Operators should review Ord 1721 for the new short-term rental rules that now apply. See what changed
